Qualification
• Worked on a
functional verification team for 32-bit SoCs and IP blocks;
• Focal point on
introducing formal verification techniques and tools;
• Functional
Verification on multi-site projects on SoC’s, specifically with 32-bit
microcontrollers;
• Conception, specification and functional verification of eTPU, a time
coprocessor which is a key IP for automotive SoC aplications, provide
support on that for internal customers;
• Digital IP verification, SoC Verification, testbench specification
and testbench management, for Freescale families MPC55XX, MCF5XXX, and
MPC5633M (joint venture project with ST Microelectronics)
• Responsible for development and maintenance of a coprocessor
assembler for internal use on design and verification tasks;

Microcontroller assembly code debugging;
• Analyze
requirements for verification planning and deveopment;
• Support to internal customers on IP reuse methodology;
• Develop the verification environment including the simulation
testbench,
verification components and stimuli to successfully complete the
verification plan and prove correct functionality of the device under
verification;
• Run simulations and debug RTL level code and the verification
environment;
• Track code and functional coverage to monitor completeness of the
verification effort;
• Interfacing closely with Design and Test engineers;
• Identify and help to implement methodology improvements;
• Programming languages: Verilog, Microcontrollers Assembly, C, C++,
Vera, Perl, TCL, System Verilog.

• Bravo! Award received from Motorola Inc. due to work on eTPU
functional verification, March 2003;
• Distinguished Author Award received from Freescale Inc. due to
authoring and presenting a paper at IEEE LATW(Latin-American Test
Workshop) 2005, Sept 2005.
